πŸš€ Welcome! – Your Journey Starts Here

Welcome to the Touchdesigner Beginner Course!

Meet Your Instructor

Hello, I’m Okamirufu. If you’ve made it here, chances are you already know my workβ€”and you know that my main mission is to teach Touchdesigner in the most efficient and understandable way possible. My YouTube channel is proof of that commitment: in under a year, it has grown rapidly, and with over 3,250 supporters on Patreon, I can confidently say I’m ready to design one of the most comprehensive and impactful Touchdesigner courses out there. One that guarantees not just knowledgeβ€”but true understanding.

Why This Course Exists

Many people start learning TD (Touchdesigner) full of passion, only to get lost in a sea of confusing tutorials, complex explanations, and unclear concepts. The software is powerful, but the learning curve can feel steep without the right guidance. And while copying networks is easy, it won’t unlock your creative potential. What truly empowers you is understanding the why behind each node, each connection, and each system.

What You’ll Learn

This course is designed to change that. It will give you a strong foundationβ€”not just to use TD, but to truly understand it . You’ll gain a clear understanding of the main node families, learn how to build from scratch, and be ready to tackle more advanced topics and other tutorials with confidence.

How the Course Works

The course will be delivered primarily through videoβ€”about 80% of the material is made up of carefully structured, high-quality video lessons. The rest includes written guides, quizzes, helpful resources, and links. You'll also have access to an open community where we can grow and learn together inside this platform. My goal is to make this a space where you feel empowered to understand TD for your creative career.

The Outcome

By the end of this course, you’ll not only know how to use TD β€”you’ll be able to think like a creative technologist. Whether you want to become a multimedia designer, a VJ, or an interactive installation artist, you’ll have the skills and confidence to begin your journey with strength and clarity. Let’s dive in. I’m excited to learn and create alongside you.

Before you dive into the full curriculum details, I'd love to hear directly from you! What are you hoping to achieve with TD? What specific creative ideas or projects are sparking your excitement for this course? Please share your thoughts, expectations, or even just your enthusiasm in the comments section below.
